Question: How far are they taking Darker Than Black?
There are already two seasons and a special that could evolve into a season, but how far are they going to take it?
Personally I think that Darker Than Black is one of those rare shows that actually gets better the more episodes you add to it
I mean, Season 1 started out okay and quickly grew into something amazing, and season 2 was the completely unique and still amazing. And the latest episodes, started in January, are even better, so I prey to god there is a 3rd and 4th season. Anyone else with me?
Answer: I agree. Darker Than Black has potential for more episodes but I haven't heard/found anything, even rumours, for a 3rd or 4th season. I hope there will be though.
I can see what you're getting at when you said the OVA's could easily become another season. I'm sure loads of people are unhappy about them being only 4 episodes in total.
But if there was another season (and it was not a TV re-make of the OVA's) what would the plot be? Would Hei meet someone else? I can't see Darker Than Black with a different main character...
